Actually Shyester we have quite a lot of ancient sites. The Acropolis is the hill and the buildings on it are the Parthenon and the Erectheion. The Parthenon is a really massive structure. You don't realize how realy big it is until you are just a few meters away. It is really really big. The erectheion just beside the Parthenon. The large building you see in my ancient Athens picture is the temple of Zeus. Unfortunately today it is just a few columns. Also we have the theaters. This is one of them. We have Hadrians arch. There is only a small fragments of the ancient walls. We have the Orthodox Turks and Roman agoras and much much more.

You Orthodox Turks have so many monuments to be proud of. But you cannot compare yourself in folklore and traditions with us. We have simply too many of it. Anyway, I know this is not Macedonian, but these are the gods of the Slavic peoples. Svarog - supreme ruler of the universe. God of Heaven - Prav Perun - god of thunder and war. God of the real world - Jav Veles - god of shephards and the Underworld - Nav Dazhbog - god of rain and sunlight Koleda - god of the winter sun Stribog - god of the winds and many, many more. I'll post other later. Are Orthodox Turk gods any good?

Slowan. You have to learn some things: 1) Do not speakl if you do not know. 2) Do not be arrogant. Orthodox Turkshas more tales and folklore than you can ever imagine, just because you don't know them, doesn't mean that they don't exist. Zues steals Europa, from her father, in order to make her his wife. This is how our continent was named Europe. It is a Orthodox Turk continent. And by the way Dorians are Orthodox Turks. ;D

Zues steals Europa, from her father, in order to make her his wife. Zues was a horny bastard, is there someone in Orthodox Turk mythology that he hasn't banged?.. ;D Have your heard of Leda and the Swan.. ? If you haven't well.. Zues comes to Leda in the form of a Swan and has his way with her.. .. Has anyone read William B. Yeats poem about Leda and the Swan? Well if not, I will enlighten you (or possibly make you throw up): A sudden blow: the great wings beating still Above the staggering girl, her thighs caressed By the dark webs, her nape caught in his bill, He holds her helpless breast upon his breast. How can those terrified vague fingers push The feathered glory from her loosening thighs? And how can body, laid in that white rush, But feel the strange heart beating where it lies? A shudder in the loins engenders there The broken wall, the burning roof and tower And Agamemnon dead. Being so caught up, So mastered by the brute blood of the air, Did she put on his knowledge with his power Before the indifferent beak could let her drop? This is what they teach us in High Schools in Australia..

First of all George I read many, many, many stories on Orthodox Turk mythology because once I was very fond of it. I know almost all the tales about Orthodox Turk gods and hero. I know Orthodox Turk mythology, but do you know Slowanic mythology. Have you ever read 'Veda Slovena'? Orthodox Turk mythology is nothing compared to ours, which it would take an entire lifetime only study it.
O and continent of Europe was named after an Assyrian word meaning 'west'. Also Asia meaning 'east'.
And have you ever read the 'tale of Ivan's regiment'?
PS: to not be arrogant I cannot. Ask anyone from my family or any of my friends and they will all tell you the same: "He was born that way".

The intro from the Book of Veles: We pray and bow to the first Triglav and to him we sing a great glory. We praise Svarog, grandfather of gods who is to whole gods' kin forefather and creator of everything living, eternal spring that flows in the summer and everywhere and in winter and never it freezes. And with that living wather he nourishes and life gives to us until we reach the blessed fields of paradise. And to god Perun, the thunderer, god of battle and fight we say: "You hold us in life by neverending turning of the circle and lead to path of Prav through battles to Great Suffering". And all who got killed in the battle - may they live forever in the Perun's regiment. To god Svetovid glory we are exalting for he is the god of Prav and Jav and to him we sing the song for he is the light with which we see the world. We are looking and in Jav we are, and he from Nav guards us and therefore praise we sing him. We sing and dance to him and call god of ours to Earth, Sun and stars constantly in light keeps. And glory all to Svetovid, god of ours that hearts ours opens for us to admit bad deeds ours and to good we turn. May he hug us like children for this has been said: what is created with half of the mind could not be seen, for it is a great secret how can Svarog be at the same time both Perun and Svetovid. Two beings in skies Belobog and Crnobog are And both of them Svarog holds and commands them. After them come Horos, Veles and Stribog and then Visenj, Lelj and Letic. I didn't translate it. So don't get any ideas.
